With a resonant, sonorous voice that recalls Nico’s early early chamber-folk, Language of Stone’s Noa Babayof makes her first steps out of the gate with a confidence that’s both refreshing and rare in a debut recording. Based out of Israel, Babayof’s inflected English also draws comparison to the aforementioned singer, with equally engaging results.
