The San Francisco MoMA has announced a new exhibition showcasing the artwork of Devendra Banhart alongside the master painter Paul Klee. The exhibition, Abstract Rhythms: Paul Klee and Devendra Banhart, runs from now through February 24th. Thirteen new works by Banhart will be on display in Abstract Rhythms, along with fourteen from Klee. In conjunction with the exhibition Devendra Banhart will be preforming live at the SF MoMA on January 17th!

It took a bit longer than I expected for me to move up to San Francisco and get all settled in here, but wait no longer, Naturalismo lives! I’m trying to get my bearings again here at Naturalismo so the first post I get up will be a hodgepodge of what has been going on (as I myself get caught up again). Also, if you sent me an e-mail (thanks for the encouragement to get back) during the hiatus, I will be getting to those in the next few days. Onwards…
I’m excited to get back to writing here at Naturalismo, looking around at other blogs it occurred to me again why I started it…no one covers these artists! Also, if you’re interested in writing for Naturalismo please contact me I’d love to have more writers here!
